Last season, the Jackson State men's basketball team had one of their most successful seasons in recent history, winning the SWAC Championship and playing in the NCAA Tournament. Johnson, who finished his senior season as the second leading scorer in the nation, led the Tigers to a 21-13 record in his final season at JSU.
