As children, we always want to make our parents proud, but for the first time since I started writing, I already know my parents will disapprove of what I am about to say. See, both my parents are professors (both of psychology), and I'm going to ask the students of Mississippi State to do something neither my parental professors nor your current professors would approve of.

Katy Perry has definitely made "California Gurls" the summer anthem of 2010, no doubt about it. Another track off her album, "Last Friday Night," will surely be the future anthem for any girls night out. She has so far released four singles out of the 12 tracks of her album Teenage Dream, which kind of ruins the album's feel.

Do you have class on Thursday afternoon or evening? Are you planning on going to next Thursday's football game against Auburn? You may have trouble doing both. Classes are not canceled Thursday, even though the campus will be swarming with over 50,000 Bulldog and Tiger fans.

When the NCAA passed a new bylaw last April that prevented schools from providing recruits with media guides, coach Josh Pastner and his staff already had a backup plan.
In the midst of last season, staff members threw around the idea of a blog or website devoted solely to the men's basketball program. By the end of the season, they decided to run with it. Matt Dunn, an operations assistant, was pegged as webmaster.

If you have ever attended church service on campus or in the area, you have to experience The Church Of The Champions.
The church is already breaking ground, pastored by Henry Tolbert with his wife LaToya Tolbert.
The Tolberts are no strangers to the campus, struggles of young adults and the local spiritual scene.

In response to the recent alleged rape on campus, The Nicholls Worth would like to stress to the students the importance of protecting yourself and ultimately preventing another unfortunate incident both on and off campus.
We know people like to drink and have fun with friends, but there is a limit.

The internet basically dominates today's society. This gives people, especially bands, the opportunity to share and promote their works with the world. Social networks, like MySpace, and music distributors, such as iTunes and Amazon, give ways to share music to basically anyone who puts their mind to it.

"Jesus this, Moses that, Abraham hit me with a wiffle ball bat."
That line is from "Little Nicky," an Adam Sandler flick from 2000. It's a crap movie, but it's a quote that reflects my indifference towards religion.

I don't condone their actions, nor do I plan to admonish the masses who don't agree with me. My convictions are solely my own.
I don't believe in tolerance, or even acceptance. What I do believe in is respect.
